Tottenham Hotspur are already looking at replacements for Harry Kane and they have earmarked Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic as one of their main targets.

It feels like this is Vlahovic’s agent trying to put pressure on other interested clubs or to get a higher contract offer.

I don’t think we would have a hope, he’s a top player.
He's a player who's highly coverted because of the lack of truly elite strikers in the game.
He has no where near proved he's a "top player," and I actually think we should look elsewhere for more value, if we're taking a punt on potential.

Since his name has been mentioned in ITK maybe it's best we discuss his merits and value in here rather than the daily.
Juve have been a bit of a basket case this year so I am not sure how we make a current judgement but I for one would be happy with him coming to us.

Hopefully he'll get his own thread now that there has been ITK rather than purely aggregator speculation.

Juve did £80 million on this guy and they’re happy to move him on.
Also been hit by lots of charges, are out of Europe (like us) and trying to finance a big money move for Lukaku.

Stars have aligned and I think his style of play is perfectly suited to Ange and how he wants his strikers to play

The two don't have to be mutually exclusive. A player who has the skillset to play a number of positions doesn't automatically make him less good in his prime position, or a detriment, if anything it's the opposite. Vlahovich, who is exclusively a specialist striker, hasn't exactly been pulling up trees in Serie A, but you'd rather him?

@barry

He might not have pulled up many trees since his move to ultra defensive Juve but he was was for Fiorentina the 2 years previous to his move. I also like the way he plays. He's a very strong work horse with excellent finishing. So whilst I'm not against Muani, yes I'd prefer Vlahovic.

I do like this **** but I also like the idea of giving Richarlison a fair crack but then again no reason why Richarlison couldn’t get ahead of Vlahovic if we signed him and he should fight for his place like everyone else.

Having said that best of both worlds for me is Ferguson as we can intrograte him more slowly but he’s more risky. I think Vlahovic would be awesome for us though, if he wants to come (which I’m not sure he would)

Anyone remember the post's from the guy who's best friend played poker with Vlahovic's dad or something? 😂

Think it even culminated with the poster having a facetime with Vlahovic😅

Prefer Vlahovic to Muani. He's proven in a much tougher league amd could be cheaper.

We were falling all over ourselves for this guy two summers ago. Two years ago he smashed in a goal better than every other game for Fiorentina and Juventus. He’s still just 23. He and I share a birthday.

Get him in if Kane goes!
