According to Tuttosport, Tottenham have rekindled their interest in Torino full-back Wilfried Singo. The report suggests the 21-year-old is a player that ‘the current Spurs coach liked’. Singo’s contract runs out in 2024, and Torino are apparently thinking of cashing in on the Ivory Coast international.

Levy went to Waitrose for Ndombele and Lo Celso… he left suitably unimpressed.

Moral of this story…bigger isn’t better. The bigger a fee doesn’t guarantee a better calibre of player (necessarily).

I agree but sometime you need to pay a slight premium to beat of other clubs for top quality players. Sadly it happens very rarely do we even try to.compete when very top clubs bid for players you never know we might even win?

May not be the most eye catching signing but it could easily be a signing that goes to Newcastle or Leicester and plays fantastic. Suddenly the top 4/5 clubs want them and their value has quadrupled.
