I think the numbers of injuries don't tell the story properly. It should be how many playing days lost to those injuries are more important.

I think the numbers will be well down this season. Don't know what Poch is doing, but we don't seem to have as many crocks as in previous years.

All of the injuries to Spurs players over the past five seasons add up to an astonishing total of 338.5 months of lost playing time – which is just over 28 years!

Interesting that AVB's first full season had the least injuries, but by the time he left (just before Christmas) we had a large injury list - requiring Capoue to play at CB for example. So was the first season an aberation ?

This season under Poch I was astounded that at Christmas we had few if any injured, and even now at the start of February we are remarkably injury free despite playing a very small squad of maybe 16 players (with the likes of Adebatyour, Capoue, Kaboul et al hardly playing) - much smaller than AVB was playing so if this keeps up, it must be something to do with the training/monitoring sysem that Poch's team has implemented.

A lot has been said recently about Poch's fitness regime - particularly his preseason training methods - so maybe that is helping keep the injury list down this season?

The web site also provides information for other teams. In comparison with others we are unhealthy.
Chelsea playing time lost in last five years is 166 months, Man C 194.5, Liverpool 201.5, Man U 267.5 (Hargreaves and Fletcher 48 months), THFC 338 (Ledley 24.5) and Ars 362.

Not that I'm bothered but a doh and a dislike rating for quoting the original article

I think that some people give a dislike because they don't like the information. Thus, the poster gets unfairly penalised.
