We wont be top 4 this season, still too early and too many chances this season, and with Keane and Berabtov still beeing linked away, our season may hinge on if one or both goes, and how quickly the replacments settle in and if they are of equal or better quality for our team

The 'article' seems to spend a long time trying to find different ways to say that nobody outside of the big four is breaking into it because their players are not as good and they don't win enough matches.

Yeah we know......

It's only reasoning for it being us to break in is that we'll have the same highly regarded manager all season and we've bought two exciting players.

So it's a tad optimistic in the first place but then basically ignores the fact that we're likely to lose one or maybe two of the players who shared 80% of our goals in finishing 10th last season

I won't be making any predictions for a long time yet....

- I think our squad is still (at least) the 5th best in the EPL

-Therefore, we should be able to beat any of the teams outside the top 4

- So if we're consistant against all the so-called 'lesser' opposition, anything is possible

It will all depend on the whole transfer saga which has enveloped us, over the last few weeks. Who'll come in, who'll leave, etc.

Interestingly enough, that also goes for every other team in the league; there really hasn't been much transfer activity of late. Take The Toon for example - their squad's in a shocking state still, with 5 weeks and counting until the end of the transfer window. The same can be said for quite a few other sides in the EPL.

Also, this year sees some pretty ropey teams in the EPL; some are even arguing that it's the weakest EPL in a long while. Teams such as Hull, Stoke, WBA, Wigan, Fulham, Bolton, Middlesborough, Blackburn, possibly Sunderland (depending on what other signings they make) aren't exactly world-beaters.

Anyway, come September 1st and a few games under our belt, we'll all have a pretty good idea where we'll finish.
