The manner of that defeat was unacceptable, our reaction to their formation change, the way we approached it in the second half.

This wasn’t Juve, it was our own undoing, Juve seeing the game out was all Juve I will admit but those two goals were down to us.

Seeing Szczesny smiling on our pitch makes me feel physically sick.

I would say that Poch was schooled tonight but I don't actually think he's capable of learning lessons. That Lucas was never subbed on absolutely beggars belief.

Allegri was proactive and absolutely seized the tie. Poch, stubborn to a fault as always, sat on his hands and did the square root of fuck all while we pissed it away. He's a fantastic manager but it is a huge failing.

Unfortunately the tale of the last few seasons has been us playing really well but not having the killer mentality.

How many of you honestly had us to qualify from the group? Gutted yes, but moreso proud.

We've played and at the very least matched most of the top sides in world football in the last 6 months.

Now we can concentrate on winning the FA Cup and cementing another craic at these Italian ****s next season!

I'm quite concerned with Poch's stubborness to not change games early and it doesn't seem to be changing either. Not saying I want him gone, more that I just want him to be a bit more proactive. It's worrying that it hasn't changed in his managerial career.

It's the manner of the defeat that is shameful. The complacency to begin the second half, the failure to react to their changes, the lack of concentration for both of the goal, and finally Poch's unwillingness to make the necessary changes when we had to chase the game. We gave away the tie, and that is absolutely shameful no matter who we we're playing.
I’m sorry you can’t call that shameful. And for me you can’t call it complacency either we’re playing Juventus not fucking West Ham. The lads knew full well the game wasn’t over. Just that moment of concentration and a good tactical change from Allegri that’s all.

I also have nothing but respect for guys like Buffon and Chiellini. It's often a bit dirty but so effective, and I really felt their emotions when Chiellini made that tackle to deny Kane a tap in and they cheered as if they'd scored. More of that in football, please.

I thought we played relatively well and created a lot of opportunities, just 5-10 minutes where we switched off and they took full advantage.

we needed more energy down the flanks, should have subbed on rose for davies

Should have matched them and gone 4-4-2. Poch just didn't react fast enough to the Juventus changes and to be honest why bother having a strong bench if you aren't going to utilise it? Very odd.

Gutted. I still think if Son hadn’t been taken-out early on in the Juve goal he would have been back helping out and possibly would have made the difference.

Dier looks injured to me now.

hate to say but we well and truly bottled that, poch got out tactic on the big stage

I'm not sure bottled it is fair but Poch has been tactically beaten there. Tough tough lesson to be learnt and he has to show how to bring this team back up for the remaining prem games and certainly the fa cup.

No scapegoats at all but surprised Dier wasn’t brought off for Wanyama at HT. he physically looked a bit out of it after the knock in the first half.
