Tottenham are said to be at the front of the queue to sign Atletico Madrid’s Rodrigo De Paul ahead of this summer’s transfer window. This is according to Inter Live, who say that several clubs from England and Italy as well as Spurs are keen on De Paul, including Roma, AC Milan, Brentford and Everton.

This would be a great signing. Him alongside Bentacur, both all action, technical midfielders who cover a lot of ground.

He’s not currently a nailed starter at CM for Atletico. So it’s possible. He’s almost 29, any fee should take that into account we would not get much when selling.

His Fbref numbers look good offensively, though surprisingly (to me at least) he’s poor defensively according to the statistics. He passes the eye test for me though, and would be a nice upgrade on Hojbjerg. Fbref Link.

You've got to believe Hojbjerg is saleable. Surely the likes of Newcastle would see him as a benefit to their midfield. Would be a good upgrade.

I want to see Bissouma. Not the neutered Bissouma Conte created but the one who tore it up year after year for Brighton.

I’m sure Newcastle will be in the market for our cast offs

We might as well sign RuPaul. Watching Tottenham is a drag anyway.
