When a club, say Tottenham, look to appoint a manager, they will not just be appointing him, the boss will come in with a team of his own. That may include an assistant manager, a goalkeeping coach, video analysts, psychologists and much more. Nagelsmann’s backroom staff at Bayern Munich was a very good one, but the report claims all of them have left him for one reason or another.

Assistant Manager, Ryan Mason, coach, Matt Wells, Goalkeeping Coach, Perry Suckling, nutritionist Adam Richman.

I’ve saved him a load of time and effort.

It always concerns me if a manager loses a key member of his own entourage before joining us, you never know if they were an important part of their success. This was the case with Mourinho when he lost his assistant of 17 years after the United job.

You also want to see leaders maintain loyality in their close circle. Poch for example. So if there is truth to this claim that literally all of Nagelsmann's team have gone their separate ways, that would be surprising and possibly concerning depending on the circumstances

I understand the concern. Equally though, we can become comfortable with the same team and everybody slowly learns to have the same ideas and if you desire to develop as a person you need to challenge yourself by surrounding yourself with new ideas and new approaches and there's a lot of talented people entering the game at the moment it seems who may be worth working with.

Nagelsmann took his staff from Leipzig to Bayern. They have all left Bayern so I'd find it hard to understand if the key members didn't want to follow him again. Some may perhaps want to stay in Germany.
I think the goalkeeping coach stayed at Bayern to join Tuchel's backroom team so that is one position that may need appointing.
His assistant was Dino Toppmoller who is the son of former Leverkeusen manager Klaus, who took them to Champions league final in 2002. He may want to carve out his own managerial career at some point, so that may be an issue. Could Mason fill that position? Im sure there won't be any shortage of applicants for any positions given JN's stock.

Nagelsmann is the right man for us, his team plays on the front foot, Levy should not mess things up as usual

There’s a rumour that he hates Kane & Son and would insist on them leaving the club if he joined.
On that basis, I hope we steer clear of him.

Wasn't Bayern trying to recruit Kane under his tenure?

Also, both suit the system that he likes to play; several of our players do.

It might be why we’re not interested in appointing him/why he doesn’t want the job.
