Oh fuckin hell. Really? Two targets today, three tomorrow?
That is understating the situation to be honest. Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have not got a bloody clue what they are doing and their desperation does not bode well for the club

Had my phone on all day. Nothing yet, but quietly confident that they will have been impressed by my cv.

Going to update my linked in profile with the words "pressing" and "able to work in DoF structure".

75% of this is press bollocks and clickbait: invented. If there weren't the incessant feverish press, the fans would be waiting for an announcement. Instead, everyone is in a panic and everyone has "my opinion" to share every ten minutes, creating a feverish maelstrom of bullshit that many people mistake for reality.

Makes no difference. This is the first time Levy had no plan for after the sacking. It is worrying and looks ridiculous.

Not accurate.

Levy has form for this. When he hired Pleat for a year while he looked for a manager and DoF. Then he did the same when he hired Sherwood because we couldn't get in who we wanted.

Let's be calm. Our new DoF has only been in the job a few days. He needs time to assess and work out what and who he needs in. Probably didn't expect the Gattuso backlash and rethinking his strategy.

And Mason was his pleat/sherwood. But now he seems clueless. It's not like the names mentioned represent similar playing styles.

Actually he hasn't even started yet. Everything you read until 1st July is probably bollocks.

How long did he take to think that Gattuso was a good fit?

I think it's more a case that social media has made a reporting frenzy of this situation with so much more information (and misinformation) than previous. But having said that, you don't spend a year with pleat or Sherwood as your manager whilst you look for options if you know what you want.

I think Levy is trying to find the silver bullet with every appointment

Our new DoF doesn’t start until 1st July. I’m sure he’s having some sort of input but lots on here seem to blame him and are looking for his sacking before he’s even started.

I'm too hungover to actually give a feck, but I am weak...

Thanks for the link, but I think it's way off the mark.

Admittedly I only read the headline. I stopped when it cited other Spurs chiefs prefer Rodgers and Pochettino.

Thought Rodgers turned us down, and Poch isn't prepared to force a move out of PSG.

Conclusion...still too hungover to give a feck.

Exactly! The only real difference this time is that Levy hasn't given a contract to the temporary (caretaker) manager - which makes perfect sense considering it's the closed season. It's not uncommon for other clubs to appoint temporary managers on a permanent contract and then sack them months later when a better option becomes available.
