Hmm, not sure this reveals anything really. You could have read this two years ago and may well be reading its equivalent two years in the future. (Though I agree that Lloris looked a little reticent yesterday, not sure why).

Also what was the short corners trick all about? Not one cross whipped in by Eriksen as far as I can remember.

I just assumed it was because no one ever beats the first man taking proper corners.

Probably right although I wonder if they had some plan that didn't come off, certainly at one point in the second half it looked like they were trying the old "Teddy special" at the corner of the box.

Interestingly we've equaled our longest unbeaten premier league run with 11 games.

Although there were a lot more wins in that 2011 spell. (W10 D1 L0)

We had 3 world class players in our team.
Then the short corners, I think they are just trying to see what works while retaining possession and not allowing for as many counter attacks from just swinging one in there.

All in all I am really starting to like Poch and the way he sets up his teams as long as we can keep him I think we are going places may take a while but this is the most hopeful I have been about Spurs since Redknapp left.

There is a lot to be excited about. We have a young team, and they will have the odd blip, but many of them are improving with each month.
Defensively we have looked more solid this season. Despite the goal yesterday, we have a great keeper. Dier, Alli, Kane, Lamela all exciting us. It's easy to forget just how young Eriksen is, and therefore we can hope he will be even better for us in the coming seasons.
I don't reckon ANY Prem side will relish an upcoming fixture with us? That is how good a unit we are becoming.
Keep smiling, and enjoy the ride! COYS

Great responses. Although we all know happens historically when we start doing well, we sell our best players/our manager leaves and we drop back 3 years.

All down to you Mr Levy....

What you say is true, but just look at how many quality midfielders we have and how many more we have that are looking to break through. In the first group I would put (in no particular order) Eriksen, Dembele, Mason, Dier, Bentaleb, Alli, and arguably Lamella, Son, Njie and Chadli, although I would regard them as forwards. Looking to break through you have Carroll, Pritchard, Winks, Onomah and I'm sure those more familiar with the Development Squad would add a few more. I have left out Veljkovic as he seems to be likely to leave at the end of the season, although I hope not.

The future is very bright. COYS!

considering how much taller we are than them I really don't know why we don't whip the ball in, maybe against Chelsea we will and they wont be expecting it :D

Lloris. Vertonghen. Alderweireld. Eriksen.
All first choice internationals. First three for (correct me if I'm wrong) the best national side in the fifa world rankings?

Hmm Denmark are currently their second lowest position in FIFA's rankings for past 25 years, one place above Albania. I'm not sure 'playing for a national team' equates to world class.

But then I've never really cracked what 'world class' means

Agree. Also I think the overall quality of the first team is now generally better, with more intelligent players. Most importantly, we work well as a team.

It's become fashionable to talk down just how good that 11-12 team were. Adebayor and Parker were playing at a high Prem level, Ledley was great for the first half of the season, Assou-Ekotto was a better player before injury, and Daws, Kaboul, Walker, Sandro and Lennon were no mugs. I still think the big thing was Ledley finally being done in the second half of the season.
