Yes!!!!

Not bad value for what is turning into an insane window for transfer prices.

Couldn't see the official confirmation of this anywhere on Spurs Community so hope that it's ok to post, even though it's been in the offing for ages.

I think it's a pretty solid start to the window with Wanyama and Janssen.

This is looking an incredibly tough window to get any value but I think we have found some in our first 2 signings. It's also good to have the 2 newbies settling in at the start of pre-season.

I would love to see Franco Vazquez join the ranks now. He is a great combo of creativity and a beast who would give us real options in midfield. CM for teams we need to break down but can play further forward too. Great passer.

Looks a good player & a top finisher; the amount of times he finds the corners of the goal in the various excerpts i have seen is excellent. Too many players try to be too cute or clever, but he looks the business with his rather functional finishing.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Poch went & played '4-4-2' like he did at Southampton for a time with Lambert & Rordiguez up top. Once again, from the excerpts i have seen he is a good link-up player who could work well with Kane, who could occupy that 'Sheringham-type' role.

Would be pleased with Gotze, but a massive part of me really, really wants us to go for Adam Lallana because he's a great controller of the ball; a proven premier league player & he's someone the manager has worked well with before.

I'm also looking forward to the cull as well because we were let down badly by a number of the players who were drafted in when required.

Hope he does well for us - still think a fully fit Jay Rodriguez would of been better for our team though.

Style-wise maybe but I would argue he is pretty unproven himself. 21 premier league goals in 4 seasons. Injuries have crippled his progress and he's only played 8 games in the last 2 seasons. We'd be crazy to splash any cash on him imo.

I'm not sure he'll ever get back to his best...?

Regardless of his ability or potential, just relieved we have another out and out striker amongst our ranks. Last season we were one injury away from finishing in the bottom half of the table.

All good points - I did say 'fully fit' though.

Great news. Lets hope he pushes Kane hard for the starting slot. Competition has been great for Rose and Walker.

An excellent signing for the club, young Dutch player of the year and potent goal threat, much needed for us as we rely too heavily on one goal scorer.

Great value as well considering the prices at the moment, Bournemouth just giving £15 million for Ibe.

When you see some of the prices being bandied around, 17m looks like a bargain even if he's an unproven (in the EPL) foreign striker.

I might end up eating my hat but I have a pretty decent feeling he'll be a star for us.

Every time I read something about him the price had gone up by a million. Started at 11m if I remember correctly. Glad to get this one over the line.

Just seen his goals on you tube, got a bit of Lineker about him, seems like a poacher...good news I think.

From the little I've heard he's the right sort of character, more of a Kane than bling merchant. I hope he makes it as a player but I do think he'll have limited chances for at least the first half of the first season. Maybe that'll give him time to settle in.

Also seems like untypical defending and keeping that he's likely to come up against. Lots of 1 on 1 and 1 on 2 there.
He'll have a steep learning curve.

The £ has gone south by a few notches since those £11M days.
