Tottenham have blown London rivals Chelsea and Fulham away with their pursuit of Club Brugge wonderkid Antonio Nusa.

Chelsea and Fulham had been keen on the teenager but it is Tottenham who have taken the initiative by offering to loan the youngster back to Brugge for the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign.

That factor has convinced the player – who had been keen to remain in Belgium until the summer window.

1) chelsea surely cant afford him ( i love saying this)
2) it would be a bad move

If he was 18 or under 18 could you sign him as a youth player and get around ffp ?

I also enjoyed reading pt 1 more than I should have, haha.

I doubt the player himself would agree to bring signed as a youth player to a squad that is already bloated with new expensive players. He would want to be in the 25 man squad of choice where he could expect opportunities in the 1st team. Not sure Poch is in a position to guarantee this.

He'd be mad to go to Chelsea.
