Game over for this then judging by the news from Qatar.

Even if it’s a ‘private group’, it will all ultimately be owned by the Qatar Investment Authority and will be their way round the PSG ownership issue.

Would be classic spurs as predicted but let’s wait and see if a load of other journalists run with it before getting our knickers in a twist.

What news from Qatar? Can you point me in the direction of any reliable news sources?

I think had performances probably make them want to invest more.

Look at Newcastle, completely in the mud yet the Saudis want to invest in that cause they can say they made the club winners.
Imagine if they did invest, and we were able to spend more on quality players as a result and they won us something, they’d be treated like the second coming.

As long as Levy is at the head I’m not sure anything major is going to change regardless if QSI comes in. He’s still going to be trying to get involved.

I’m not entirely comfortable with the whole idea of being involved with QSI, but if we are to go down that road anyway then I’d much rather a full take over.

No point being part of a sports washing operation if we’re just going to have the same bunch of chancers making decisions.

Don't know if there is any truth in Liverpool links but wouldn't surprise me one bit. When the links to us initially came out, I had a nagging feeling QSI maybe using us for as a pawn in a move for either Liverpool or Utd. Very likely they've been some talks between them and both of them at some point. Profile of both of those clubs is massive compared to us and for QSI to be involved with them would give them massive bragging rights, which plays a part for a lot of these investors from the middle east.

Yeah this guy is followed by Fab and Ben Jacobs. I can’t see any mention of QSI tho so could be a different group from Qatar maybe.

Everything in Qatar is ultimately owned by the QIA though a bit like with Saudi and UAE etc.

So as I said this group will probably be buying Liverpool to get round the PSG issue.

Let’s wait for one of those two to say something then before we shit a brick. That Ben Jacobs seems to want to make a name for himself so will say something if it’s true it not.

By that measure though, QSI would still be free then to invest a % in Spurs if a potential LFC owner is technically a separate company (or atleast pretending to be one). As it’s been said, they want a bigger portfolio With multiple assets.
