Maybe DL has been saving up his wheelbarrows of cash and war chests every year, and pull out the 4.5bn
The Utd deal feels very unstable to me, unless there's a lot more to it than I know, which is very likely.
Perhaps more stable than you would think. Radcliffe wants to play football manager, while the Glazer’s couldn’t give a dam about the actual running of the club long as they get their dividends.
If Radcliffe is more competent than the Glazers which shouldn’t be hard at all then the growth of the asset will benefit both of them. Hard to see the Glazers ever wanting to run the show, the issues might be down the line when Radcliffe wants to buy more of the club.
With Levy that isn’t an option as whatever you think of him he is very involved as a person, he certainly cares more than the Glazers.

You don'r trust a billionaire who asks for the government to pay for a new stadium for the club he's just bought into, claiming it's for the public good, and who's moved his tax residence to Monaco to avoid paying taxes ...I don't buy the smarmy media persona of Radcliffe
He is clearly adept at saying the right things, doing them is another matter
The ones that usually have legs are quietest right until the trigger is pulled. Could be right out of the blue.Distinct lack of gossip anywhere about any takeover , you would think some news outlet somewhere would have a bit about it , all I can find is Football London going on about Jassim .
Was it last year or the year before the PSG president was going to buy a stake in the club , whatever happened to that.
It's an amazing house, but you need to put in the furniture. Is it a nice house?
It's in no ones interest to leak details about a genuine takeover bid.Distinct lack of gossip anywhere about any takeover , you would think some news outlet somewhere would have a bit about it , all I can find is Football London going on about Jassim .

Depends how far down the line it is. The closer it is to going through more and more people will need to be in the loop. The more people in the loop the more likely it is is to be leaked. If it's just at the talking numbers stage the only people who need to know on our side are those who are right at the top table deciding the fee.Distinct lack of gossip anywhere about any takeover , you would think some news outlet somewhere would have a bit about it , all I can find is Football London going on about Jassim .

That sounds completely logical, if it where to get close I think it would be inevitable for new to come out. The amount of money involved and the size of the asset acquisition it would just be impossible to keep secret after a certain point. I guess we just have to wait and watch to see if any info leaks out.Depends how far down the line it is. The closer it is to going through more and more people will need to be in the loop. Even more so when, to me at least, several sports journalists obviously read SC but have said nothing in their papers/shows/podcasts etc.Distinct lack of gossip anywhere about any takeover , you would think some news outlet somewhere would have a bit about it , all I can find is Football London going on about Jassim .

Even the heavyweights like the Financial Times & Guardian , who have different sources to your usual football journos do stories on multi billion takeovers of football clubs but not a peep, yet .Even more so when, to me at least, several sports journalists obviously read SC but have said nothing in their papers/shows/podcasts etc.
The day a journo uses SC as a source, is the day they should stop being a journo.Even more so when, to me at least, several sports journalists obviously read SC but have said nothing in their papers/shows/podcasts etc.
I dunno. The day a journo uses SC as a source, is the day they should stop being a journo.
Hrmm...someone's upset about the Daily Mail introducing a pay-wallAlso if any of the press are reading this as a source...if you work for the Daily Mail please fuck off...just generally.
I'm amazed anyone there has the balls to try to make anyone pay for anything they produce...anyway.Hrmm...someone's upset about the Daily Mail introducing a pay-wall
It seems clear they use our ITK info for some of their transfer stories. The day a journo uses SC as a source, is the day they should stop being a journo.
