Tottenham target Terrier will miss rest of season through injury

Tottenham Hotspur have been dealt a blow in their reported pursuit of Martin Terrier, with Foot Mercato reporting that the striker could now miss the next eight months due to a knee injury.

Terrier was stretchered off in the first-half of Rennes’ 2-1 win over Nice on Monday. It is a huge setback for the Ligue 1 side, with the 25-year-old scoring 12 goals and providing five assists in all competitions this season.
