Tottenham to appoint Ange Postecoglou as new manager this week

Tottenham are expected to complete the appointment of Ange Postecoglou as their new head coach this week, as talks with both the manager and Celtic continued today.

Personal terms are expected to be a formality - with reports suggesting Postecoglou will agree a two-year deal with the option of a further year - and talks with the Scottish champions should also be straightforward, with Postecoglou on a 12-month rolling contract at Parkhead.

I think many fans will have had Poch, Nagelsmann or maybe someone else as their personal first choice. As a club we seem to be in a good place commercially, but on the pitch and the training ground, and in recruitment, it's a bit of a mess. Therefore certain managers have reservations about working with Levy, budget constraints and very high (and arguably unrealistic in the short term?) expectations? My great mate is a hardcore Celtic fan, they think Ange is brilliant. Whilst some are saying the Scottish Prem isn't great, a certain Frenchman joined the Woolwich Wanderers from another weak league and transformed them in a season or two.
If Ange signs, let's all get behind him fully. I'm excited about the prospect of attacking football!
