Paying 30 million for King would be just suicide. He's had one good season where he was first choice striker. He will simply be back up with us.

I doubt we would pay anything close to 30 mill, certainly not up front.
Otherwise I think he probably fits the bill for a squad player and he will have been properly coached at Bournemouth.
Might need a decent fee for Sissoko first.

Not exactly inspiring, certainly not for £30m. Got to be considered a fairly big risk too, given he's only really had 6 good months of top flight football.

I would like to think we wouldn't be in for Josh King.

Firstly I don't think he's ready for the step-up.

Secondly, the money people are talking about is crazy stuff.

Thirdly, I don't actually think it would be a good move for him. He needs another season where he is first choice, not scrabbling around for games.

He would be perfect for us. Not for 30, but I reckon we could knock it down to 20 with add-ons.
We need 2-3 strikers and King would complete the set up nicely.
