I noticed that at the time. I know it's not really fixed but it genuinely looks like Souness believed Redknapp was supposed to pull out Sheff Utd. Hot ball cock up indeed...
On a separate note, I lost the very small amount of respect I had for Souness just before the CL final last season when he said Modric was the weak link in the Madrid team and that he's a 5 a side player. Even Oxlade-Chamberlain tweeted he couldn't believe what Souness just said.

I never rated him as a pundit at all, but that is laughable.
We nearly lost to Burnley, I hope the players will be professional about it but there is a fair chance they will just automatically let their guard down.

Last time I was this confident of winning a cup semi final was when we played Pompy in the FA cup...... Oh.
They hammered QPR at Loftus Road the other day, and have taken quite a few PL scalps over the last couple years. Clough has made a proper cup team out of Sheffield United, and I have every expectation that we'll see a strong performance from them come the day. Unless we're on form, there's every reason to believe they could make the tie very interesting.
