Yeah was in Krakow last month, their fans are complete nutters! They've got 2 main teams there, with a huge rivalry, the cities covered in anti wisla/krakovia (sic) graffiti, and from talking to the locals the local 'fans' would love to test themselves against the British (still seen by them as the home of hooliganism).

It was on a FTA german channel on Hotbird or Astra IIRC, so lots of pubs showed it!

I watched in my house Chris, so i guess i must have streamed it from somewhere!

Response from ITV:

Thank you for your email.

Sorry to disappoint you, we don't have the rights to this match. It
could be that another broadcaster will be showing this. The club may be
able to advise you better on this.

Hope this helps

Still awaiting response from the club!

I need to know as I'm going and a 10 minute swing in KO is the difference between a direct train from NP, or having to go to Kings X!

Interesting because Setanta don't have the rights to the UEFA Cup until 2009 onwards - perhaps the early rounds are open to bidders?

Their website aren't including it in their live games and their TV guide doesn't go forward far enough to confirm it

LJ's atm only have PTV Info (Polish public broadcasting station) showing it

I remember the Famigusta(sp?) game last year at their place was something like a 4pm kick off and that was on Channel 5, hopefully it'll be on 5 again this year.

Is anyone going to the home leg? first european game for me, 3rd row in the upper tier of the Shelf Stand at the halfway line, hopefully i'll be able to get to a few more if we get to the group stages!

Nope, Five are showing Everton v Standard Liege

Dear Chris

Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding UEFA Cup Football.

We do not have the rights for the first leg of Tottenham Hotspur's match
against Wisla Krakow on the 18th September. However, we have not
confirmed our matches for the second leg on 2nd October. When we have
confirmed our matches, they will be published in the press. We recommend
that you keep a close eye on the listings.

If there is anything further we can help you with, please do not
hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your interest in Five.
