Townsend is like a headless chicken. Runs around a lot, never quite know where he's going or what he's going to do.
As a result can make something happen out of nothing, but often makes nothing happen from something promising.

Villas-Boas still needs to find the best position for Lamela

Lot of positives tonight though, Fredericks looks decent but didn't like his dive

He did actually get caught but stumbled into the challenge which made it look like a dive

Why do we pass the ball to Townsend so much?
He hardly ever passes, its so annoying
and when he is to make a one time pass, he doesnt and therefore leave Solado, Fredericks and Siggs on occassions screaming for the ball

If you think about it...that goal is pretty fucking outrageous.

If messi did that folks would be raving.

Like most youngsters, Lamela is trying to hard. Townsend was like it when he had his cameos and Bale was the same as young 18 year old.

He needs to relax, and not try to dribble the ball past every player.

Fredericks was great going forward, didnt really see him defend too much though, but looked decent and perfect for AVB. Never want to see naughton on the pitch really, but defo not at right back. Ever.

Thght shaq should some decent strength and movement, but too little to really judge.

I said in decline, i never said (as you have stated) that they were worse than Spurs.

End of.
Ha ha. End of.

You actually said on its last legs. Last years champions. On their last legs. That's the team Moyes has inherited. The comparison between the two was made. Moyes and man united and his results. Vs AVB and spurs. And our results. That was the comparison I made.

The biggest decision of the season thus far is whether AVB will stick with Defoe on Saturday against Liverpool. I tend to think he will, as he didn't even have Defoe on the bench today, but I'm guessing it's going to be a highly unpopular decision around here.
