One other thing as well. The ball that Defoe played to set up Bale was just amazing.

Everything about it was spot on.
He did have a quiet game, but with the little of the ball we had its not a surprise.
Yes, the pass from Defoe was excellent, but did you hear Andy Grey try to make out that he didn't mean it for Bale?

What a game, its been a long wait but boy was it worth it. Couldn't watch the last 10 min, walked around the garden, came back in and seen the end of injury time, just absolutely f**king fantastic. We played with the heart PM showed on Sunday & defended like Stoke/Wolves. Think I'll just watch it again now a tad more relaxed. COYS

Guys: congrats! Bloody 'triffic game that was. Only got to see the second half, but it was classy classic stuff. Over the moon and beyond. Speechless...

In the last 10 mins I had to keep running up the stairs to try and keep my mind off being nervous

So happy that we finally beat the scum

Yeah, my stomach was really churning, just wanted the 3rd to be able to relax a bit and enjoy the game. Having said that I would probably still have been nervous, because we never seem to be able to hang on...............................................................................................

UNTIL TONIGHT

Yeah, was going to mention that, the man is such a twunt, hardly gave any praise to us, just kept on going on about Arsenal's injuries. Because it wasn't like we were missing Corluka, Lennon, Kranjcar, Palacios, Woodgate and Jenas was it?

Shows what city fans know about football (off the bluemoon forum)

"A full strength Spurs side JUST managed to beat an Arsenal side minus Fabregas, Arshavin, Gallas and a fully fit RVP.

nothing to worry about here, move along please."

City could quite easily lose their next two games (irrespective of what we do in our next two) and then our game against them becomes the clincher, and i believe we have quite a good record there...

i don't know if i'm gonna sleep tonight, buzzing too much (thought i was gonna need some flomax before the game, i was so nervous )

I was at work and had to miss this one. Fantastic result!! I'm just left scratching my head like many others having lost to sunderland and PAINFULLY to pompey. Then, turn around and beat the gooner scum for the first time in 10 years. They'll do your fuqing head in...:bang::cheers::razz:

Did I hear right and the commentator said tonight that WHL is the toughest ground for away teams this last two years running? That's impressive and something to build on.
