Dembele must start and this is coming from someone who doesn't rate him and loves Son. He's got two goals in two games and he deserves his spot, Son must simply wait for his chance.

Right now anf if fit i'd play Son, Eriksen and Dembele behind Kane. Dembele put in another good shift yesterday.

Massively massively disagree, Lamlea, Eriksen and Kane all play well together and are starting to predict where gaps will occur and where the other players will run. Alli and Dembele would not have had the vision Lamela showed last night to set up Kane's goal for example, or the ability to play the short passing Eriksen and Lamela showed late in the match

I could have set up Kanes goal last night given the fact that there was a sinkhole in their defence. We need more from Lamela than to pass well late on in any game.

Sucked inside and behind play - huge chasm on the left for villa....
f9lgxx9.jpg
A minute later still hasn't cover his position - ball played out to Richardson who has half of the pitch to decide to sail into...

Dier is dragged over to support Walker, still no sign of coco...

Enters the picture here, way behind play...

They still have the ball with threat of a ball about to come into the box, he decides to stroll away from the threat leaving us short and kyle with 2 players to mark in that eventuality...

Rose fights off threat and we're lucky to not concede corner - goal kick...
p4ipeql.jpg
Lloris goal kick, coco pushed over too central and too deep again, ball is turned over...chasm on the left for villa in behind coco, header aimed into the hole...

Here, coco takes shot, admires it and doesn't start his trot back to support walker...

Villa bound forward, walker starts his dash back...
A4Y5vet.jpg
Think this is Sanchez running past eriksen to start their second attack in the sequence that lead to them scoring....coco is on their penalty spot walking...

Cross field ball to Bacuna in oceans of space on the left for villa, in the same attack...coco not even in frame...

Coco turns up but decides he won't be needed and jogs the other way...
cVmcewD.jpg
Realises that's an error and he might well be needed and faces our goal and starts to jog towards danger...

Villa end up hitting the post. Soon after that, villa get a throw on the same side, Mason ends up having a mix-up with Dier and they score from a deflection. *pic=them hitting post

The Chasm in front of Walker was a big problem from 75mins onwards which is why I wanted Onomah to come on over to the right. It was clear coco was either too tired or not willing to fulfil the role needed from him in the last 15 mins, defensively. We need him to be sharp and track counters.

It was that space that gave villa the impetus and momentum that lead to their goal. We had clear danger signs leading up to it that we ignored.

If our discipline on the right was correct I don't think we would have conceded as we would have maintained control of the game.

And as far as everyone blaming mason for the goal, dier got in his way and there was a muddle between both of them. Mason had played some lovely balls up until then and we looked more fluid with him on imo

I'm a unapologetic lamela fanboy so my criticism of him always comes with love. And for me it's always TEAM first before any individual player no matter how much I love them. And, also, Eriksen is equally guilty of this sort of thing which is why I would much prefer both of them to play #10 and share that duty, for the most part (that sprint stat. for eriksen is rubbish as he jogs about mostly - god knows what they're classing as a sprint).

Poch should have seen the danger and closed the door on that threat earlier and they wouldn't have ended up scoring imo and we wouldn't have been scrambling in the last 10mins.

That you Tim?

The goal was a deflection. Next your'l be complaing aboit Toby miss directing a header because of the amount of hait jell he uses.

We won by two clear goals.....

Jesus H Christ...
Mason lost the ball and that led to their player having a shot on goal.
My view is the same as Poch, pleased that we won but there is still room for improvement.

That's what I thought but I didn't want to assume anything.

I see but there must be a reason behind why you chose him in particular.

The other three offer (in their own indivudual way) strength, pace, specialist dead ball finishing and can work all along tbe front line.

As i said one of the four have to give way and that would be my preference behind Kane. Many others may see that differently but when all of them are good to be selected Poch will go with Eriksen, Son and Dembele i think.
