Could and should have been about 7-3 or 8-4. Awful team from Allardyce gifted us the game so the least we could do was gift them a couple of goals after it was tied up.

I thought Pav owned today, bar the penalty miss. If it wasnt for Robbo he'd have got a few more than one goal.

A great overall team performance, but I thought Modric, Hutton and Gallas, and I suspose you could include Kaboul and Jenas in that group that seem to be improving with each game.

Yep, thought he was absolute quality, every striker misses chances and I thought he showed great character after the 2 he missed in the first half, could easily have gone missing after the penalty. You could see when he scored how much it meant to him

Gallas, Bale, Hutton, Modric and Pav the stand out players today.
Good all round performance except the sloppy goals.
Sets it up nicely for next week

The bad, terrible weak defence again that badly needs a proper defensive coach.

You make it sound so simple. If anyone could just hire a defensive coach to sort out all their inconsistent injury woes then nobody would ever concede eh?

Fuck me.

WE WON! Against a supposedly in form Blackburn side. And bloody convincingly too. Cheer up people.

Legolas was okay today, but I do wish he'd stop 'marauding forward'. He's simply not very good at it, and it leaves us exposed at the back.

unlucky flukey 1st goal i thought and their 2nd well i suppose someone called have closed the ball down quicker and the octopus definately should have done better

but meh, we won! much better performance today as we didn't look so one dimension trying to hit the back post every single time, pav and jj were quality.

i really dont see what was so good about gallas? He has made some dreadful errors since joinning, what happended to bassong? Gallas should of put his foot through the ball for that 2nd, he is clumsy.

Excellent win, it was just what we needed. Pity about the sloppy defending but at least their two goals added additional emotion towards the end of a game we clearly dominated from start to finish.

Special mention for Andre Marriner who had very much a game of two halves. In the first forty-five minutes it was like he was deliberately getting everything wrong (mainly in our favour apart from the horrendous decision against Modders) but then after the break he perhaps felt the best way out of this was to not bother giving very much at all and as a result his refereeing improved immeasurably. Gave the obligatory Diouf yellow card and little else. His assistants were at best poor though.

Good performance and the stand out players were Hutton,Bale,Jenas and Pavlyuchenko.
I thought it was a similar performance against Sunderland but the ball just didn't fall for us.
Let's hope our luck changes for the rest of the season.
