That would make sense - but the way its written out on twitter makes it look more like a 433 - with Dier playing behind Wanyama and Dembele in the 3. Also assumes that Dele and Erisken have free rein to roam.

Trippier and Big Vic back in is good. Our formation is surely a 3-6-1 what with Dier, Dembele and Wanyama in there? I'm sure it's Dier as the 3rd CB, Vic anchoring and Dele and Eriksen behind Kane.

I wonder if this formation has been deliberately designed to be able to change from a 343 (Dier in a back 3, wingbacks bombing forward), to a 541 (Dier in a back 5, Alli and Erikson sitting in on the left and right), to a 433 (Dier at the base of a midfield three; Erikson and Alli and Kane in a fluid, Barca-style front 3). Maybe the team is capable of switching shape at any time in the game, as per Poch's instructions.

Intriguing line-up, anyway. Should be a good game.

Ah, yes, Dembele possibly part of the front 3 behind Kane. So many possibilities!

Must be hard for an opposing manager to prepare his team against this Poch squad.
