How is that relevant to today's game?
Probably that he should be In prison rather than scoring two goals against us I guess.

He shouldn't even be playing. How is that relevant to today's game?

I don't see how that's relevant at all, shouldn't belong in this thread in all honesty.
He shouldn't even be playing.
Don't you even dare say he should.
Now my disappointment of today has slightly dissipated it's time to reflect and put some perspective on all this. Last week Conte was being ridiculed and castigated following a home defeat against lowly Burnley after bringing the title back to Stamford Bridge the previous season. This week, no doubt, the media will turn it's attention to Poch and potential transfer activity following this loss. The football world is a fickle place and in the Premiership criticism and pundit analysis can be both irrational and cut-throat.
So let's look at some facts....the team didn't suddenly turn from swan to ugly duckling overnight. A couple of players had an extremely bad day at the office (Wanyama and Lloris) whilst some of the others seemed off the pace and their minds elsewhere. Possession is not domination so whilst we were allowed to have the ball and pass it about ....when the time came in the final third of the pitch for us to carve a way through the defence we just lacked that innovative play that would put the ball in their net. The result of that was a second half which although put pressure on the Chelsea backs never really materialised into anything truly significant. Their first goal was a fantastic effort from Alonso but the opportunity should never have arisen and Alli will hopefully reflect upon (and bitterly regret) that petulant heel flick. It was a fortunate equaliser that brought huge sighs of relief around the ground but it was not seized upon as an opportunity to deal the 'coup de grace' and try to take three points.Instead we tried to 'force' a winner and their second stemmed from a bad throw out to a player who immediately lost possession, followed by a near post shot that Lloris would normally save blindfolded.
So two games played and 3 points...same as Chelsea, and Arsenal. Let's not start any doom and gloom scenarios just yet. The team need to take a good hard, honest look at today's performance and learn from it. Chelsea host Everton next week, with Man City playing them tomorrow night whilst Arsenal travel to Anfield on Sunday ....no easy games there....we have Burnley at home. It is important that we bounce back with an emphatic win immediately and start burying these Wembley jinx theories as soon as possible. I know it hurts but it's very early days and we must use this defeat as a salutary lesson.
Keep the faith....we have new player(s) arriving and a chance to change things a bit regarding team selection. Let's see where we are after six matches before we even begin to start worrying.

Well it'll tell you where his position wasOr I watched the game with my own eyes.heat map don't tell the whole story
Aside from the lack of paragraphs hurting my eyeballs, this is an excellent post.
I feel like the players really struggle with being clinical at Wembley, I have no idea why that is but I am hoping it changes over the course of the season.
While you may be right. I don't recall a single moment in that game where I thought "if we had more pace, we'd have scored there". Chelsea had a game plan, defend deep and be organized, and that's what they done. Apart from a couple of moments when we were 1 down, they didn't open us up or really get in behind us
I understand where you're coming from and you're right. It's just painful to watch, that's all. Doesn't have to be against Spurs, the guy playing football to level he does feels like an injustice.I agree with you, however, he is playing. So making that point although justified is not relevant.
Desperately missed Lamela's quick feet and clever short passing around the 18 yard box today.
And we've been living with absolute shite from corners for years now since he got injured.
