He definitely said to the referee "i've pulled my hamstring mate"

Bale then said "he's done his hammy"

Crying shame...given the game was won and AVB had asked him if he wanted to stay on according to the pitch side reporter...

still looked precautionary had it been a league game or the second leg down a goal i think he would have stayed in.

Its a blow if Lennon's out for Sunday but its not a game changer, we don't have to completely change the way we play, Holtby slots in and the three behind the striker will still rotate.

He might have just felt it pulling slightly so being cautious he went off.

He's experienced enough now to know when not to continue playing so fingers crossed.
