although ade doesnt scores, he holds and dummys alot to let bale do MOST of the attacking, which is great currently imo cause bale is on epic form. defoe on the other hand, if he scores, good, if not, he takes alot away from bale's attacking game because if there was a chance to pass to bale for a better shot, you know defoe is still gonna shoot

Are you sure that isnt Ade trying to control the ball?

And with Defoe it gives us someone else who can score, so defenders wont let him move about as much as they do Ade.

Find a different pub mate

It's supposed to be a football bar! To dare is to do my old chum. And I'm daring to make an ass of myself.

Disclaimer, if you are in bar kick and can see the bloke by the bar in a spurs shirt come and say hello.

I was in Dubai for the games vs Lyon. Watched the away game in a "football bar" where I was the only person interested in watching the game. No commentary, only Macarena and other 90s classics playing with the volume set to 11.. ;)

I don't think anybody even heard me going crazy when Dembélé scored to take us through to this round.

Enjoyed the Gallas interview but just how bad is the ITV presenter (can't be arsed to remember his name) saying we're typically gung-ho.

We're probably the least gung-ho team in the league since AVB got us playing in a more composed, patient manner. The prick of a presenter can't have watched a single one of our games if he's coming out with dated shite like that.

Surprised Dembele is starting as he can't possibly be 100% and I would probably have gone for Holtby next to Parker in the middle.

As others have said, Lloris in is a no brainer and we are purposely weakening our side basically for the sake of looking 'fair'.

Anyhow, Inter still look on paper a more than competent outfit so I expect a close game ala Lazio so there won't be much in this at all.
The New beast, screw injury :D

we had much better flow in the attack when ade was on the pitch last week compared to defoe. i think we'll still take this game though, but judging from the games that we won with defoe, its mostly ball falls/crossed to his feet and then a powershot, rather than good build up play

remember i'm not saying we wont win, but i'm saying we are going to lose the flow of attack because defoe cant assist in building up of attack nor lead the line..he's just out there to shoot. and lets hope he has his scoring boots on( not shooting boots, those are always on)
