Trippier has been fantastic. Eriksen, Dier, Winks, Alli all pretty damn good. Kane a bit off.

Shame for the injuries as you feel Son would have a field day against them. Unlikely to get on with the injuries.

I’m assuming Toby is out for the season until I see him named in the team again. I don’t believe a word the club says about injuries anymore.

Backline has been magnificent again - Dier has slotted in very well indeed.

Bit more care in the final third but overall Madrid haven't really clicked so need to capitalise - hopefully Zidane doesn't give them a rocket up their arse!

All in white.

85,000+ rabid fans at Wembley.

Beating Real Madrid 1-0 at half time in the Champions League.

I've waited 35 years for a night like this.

Great first half hour, composed, disciplined, and smart with our play. Deservedly went 1-0 up and what a cracking goal that was.

Since then, and ok they have woken up a bit, I do feel we are getting a little carried away. I get that there is a sniff of killing them on the counter attack, but we're rushing some of our play and particularly without the ball we've lost a little of that discipline - players are starting to dive in and chase, or ceding our shape a little too eagerly.

Keep your head, keep playing smart. It's doable. A first 45 mins to be proud of on the whole though.

What a fantastic half of football, this is the team I want to see week in week out, I think the players had one eye on this game at United and that was the problem.

I am proud of this team, we are certainly just as good as Madrid based on these two performances and if that is the case then we shouldn't fear anybody quite frankly.

If you would have told me two seasons ago we would be 2-1 up over two games against Madrid I would have said you are mental.

It's testament to how good this team is that someone like Toby can get injured and we don't even look like we have missed him.

Will probably be a big loss in the league though but I imagine Dier will cover and hopefully we have Dembele to fill that role in midfield.

Unlucky from Sissoko for the shot, he has been fantastic since coming on.

One of those games where - whisper it quietly - I feel like someone like Zaha could've been a really useful option to have up the pitch. Can really carry the ball better than anyone we've got and can finish.

Different set of skills but Son can do some real damage here.

Let’s hope ta a strain and not a tear for Toby. I can see us conceding a lot more with Dier as he plays in defence like he’s mentally still in midfield. “Oh he’s past me, Toby will pick it up.....oh wait!”

Tripps is so freaking good when he plays like this.

there are so many holes in their defence for us to expose if Kane, all and eriksen can sort themselves out

Getting that 2nd goal would have been great, we deserved it too. Second half will be difficult.

We are playing pretty well but their attack scared me. Especially the cut back.
