It’s a strange line up considering how dangerous we looked on the counter at the Bernabeu. I can only think Sissoko and Son’s poor showing against Utd and Aurier’s inconsistency has led to all 3 being left out. I hope it doesn’t come back to bite us in the arse especially when Madrid are lightweight at the back, missing Navas whom was outstanding in the 1st game and playing both a back up centre and right back. Marcelo, Ronaldo, Benzema, Hakimi v Trippier and Davies... gulp. Hopefully our back 3 stay pretty deep.

The same team with the exception of Nacho for Varane lost at newly promoted Girona on Sunday... they’re there for the taking but the question is whether we’re set up correctly to do so.
