Vitesse come into this game pretty much in form. 5 straight away-wins. Only 1 defeat to a certain ajax in 10 away games.

I think sanchez has been good this season. He deserves a run in the side but will have to play centre of back 3 as he can't pass that well

I didn’t get to see the game as I’ve been in A&E for 6 hours with chest pains. I’ve been following the game on Sky Bet and other commentary apps. General consensus is that Vitesse were by far the better side but the ratings imply everyone with the exception of Romero had really good games?

Was this the case or did we implode and nearly get our arses handed to us by a mediocre Dutch side?

More importantly, what’s your chest pain outcome!?

Short version. Hugo saved us really... Good first half hour... Usual defensive errors after... Hope you are OK after your visit to hospital... Get well soon ?

It’s probably been said already but Vitesse are not a ‘bad’ team. Easily top 15 premier league wise. So for a team with no shape, unfit and generally lethargic we did well. Emerson was great, he lives on in a Conte team, the others not so sure.

Probably best you didn’t watch the game then. Was a bit of a rollercoaster. Feel better soon.

Hope you're doing OK and taking it easy. TBF with chest pains it's probably for the best you didn't watch tonight.

We were excellent going forward first 30 mins. Really slick, lots of movement. Vitesse did look dangerous though, and Hugo made a couple of saves. Then we conceded from a corner and we started to look panicky. The movement stopped and we conceded another avoidable goal after Lucas/Emerson/Romero tried to 5-a-side it out of the bottom right corner and let them in.

Second half Vitesse were much the better side. Pressed us really hard and we couldn't get hold of the ball at all. Romero compounded the problem with what was actually quite a decent rugby tackle for his second yellow. We hung on for grim death until Vitesse sportingly got a couple of their own sent off and we managed to get a grip on the game with some decent subs.

Vitesse work really hard and play constructive football. Lots saying they're just a Championship standard side, but really they would hold their own against most Prem sides outside the top six.

Oh and we're not entirely sure, but Hugo might have stolen someone's kid after the final whistle.

It's not like Conte took this job on without knowing what he was up against. He must have been given certain assurances and had a pretty good idea who the weakest links were already so we just need to use our famed patience for the time being.

Just as well you didn’t watch it if you had chest pains. Vitesse were much fitter than us and played very well. We noticeably tired after 30 mins after coming out of the blocks all guns blazing. But we were very poor defensively for the majority of the game. Hope you’re feeling better and chest was nothing serious!

It was a nice, easy, comfortable win. Relaxed all the way through, no issues, no threat, completely stress free

how long is conte gonna put up with that skipp and hojberg pivot, horrendous
And the other option being? Not disagreeing with you per se, just pointing out that all our other options have a horrendous feel about them too...
