Good lineup. Wouldve liked to see dembele playing higher up though, with Alli absent. Maybe we'll see that 2nd half with mason playing next to dier and one of chadli or lamela giving way
I'd obviously rather it was us that won the league but the Leicester story this season is truly inspiring. It really is astonishing and I can't help but pleased for the Tinker Man.
If we go second today Lineker may well end up being the most insufferable pundit that ever lived (his two favourite teams at the top of the league)! I mean that nicely by the way!
Son made some great runs and he was unlucky that Kane didn't pass to him on couple of occasions last time so I hoped he would start, but good team overall and he could change the game from the bench again. Wimmer's first "real" test against a good striker, hope he does well.
Going above the goons AND city would be a massive step after having to come from many points behind them both even through periods where they too have had purple patches!! #consistencyiskey
I'll be interested to see if Dier sits as deep as he did in the reverse fixture. Great to see Mason back in the match day squad. I'm not so sure about Son's exclusion, I would have possibly have him start in place of Chadli or Lamela, but I can understand that we need to rotate and keep players fresh. When you see our match day squad you can see the depth and variation we have, it's great stuff. As for the league title, I'm keeping my feet firmly on the ground, a top 4 finish with the youngest squad in the league is still an incredible achievement, I'll still be keeping an eye firmly on the united games until we're our of sight, starting with us getting the 3 points today.
