Dembele is frustrating today. Is still not attack minded enough, and isn't able to do his one asset which is hold onto the ball.

i assume hes in there because they have 3 in midfield but doing nothing at either end of the pitch, still a million times better than paulinho but shows how little quality we have in that postion, selling siggy was a mistake for me.

The disappointing thing about that is it was another goal conceded due to an individual error.

I thought we were done with that shit now.

I still think we'll win. They are average, but we need to start using the ball better and playing at that high tempo.

Dembele's strength is his ability to ghost pass players and retain possession. When he doesnt do that then he is pretty average. Thats whats happening now

Yeah they are. We're very poor at working our way into the box with the ball on the ground. Result of not enough stretch and induction of disorganization.

Valencia, Sakho and Downing also dropping deep in the midfield area. They are playing a 4-6-0 formation without any real width. Bentaleb and Mason have no space neither does dembele or Lamela.

Yep he just offers nothing. I don't care that he can shrug off 5 people if he cannot make a simple 5 yard pass to play someone through after. So much talent, so much raw power, so little end product

So rather attack the width which is the only place is space we should bring on two players who like to cut in to a team playing 3cm's and has 3 attackers joining them in that space?
