That was fucking delicious. Just when you feel like fucking Spurs off altogether they do that to you.

To fucking West Ham of all teams. :ROFLMAO:

We are not a true pressing team. In order to press the way we want the opposition have to have the ball in their final third. Hard to do that when they dropped off and got 11 behind the ball hence all our sideways possession.

Against Man City they had the ball at the back allowing us to step up and press.

West Ham, Bournemouth and West Brom said you have it come and breaks us down.

We need to be 1-0 up to force teams to step up so we can go forward and if we lose the ball we can press.

Good point.i guess that why we are crying out for a speedy winger or two to make the other teams think again. I do feel out intensity has gone though.

Great result..... But Eriksen can fuck off. Another absolutely shit performance from him. People laughed at me saying give Winks a chance in the starting 11, over the likes of some of our named players. I would start Winks over Eriksen any game, how he is getting in the starting 11 is beyond me.

I'd like to say injuries but he's clearly one of Poch's favourites.

The first 20 minutes in the 2nd half were more like it, the attitude and passion were where they should be. Otherwise very mediocre performance against very mediocre team. But in the end, three points is what matters and it was about time to win! Still Eriksen should be benched, he really needs to wake up.

Winks easily MOTM.

COYS!!!

Woohoo!! What a game!! The commentators were still talking on how we won the game 4-3 when we were down 3-2 with Stalteri scoring the last gasp winner.. We did it once more with similar circumstances!!:LOL::LOL::whistle:

Wow... we did NOT deserve that.

But I can't think of a better way to send West Ham away from the Lane for the last time.

Yes we did. What attacks of note did West Ham actually make besides shitty set pieces? We had 14 shots on goal to their 11 and 6 shots on target to their 3 (one of which was a penalty). The fact that they managed to score 2 from their 3 shots in target is a bit unlikely as it is...

We made the better chances. Dier was incredibly unlucky his header was saved and as usual, we as a team controlled the ball better than them.

My gripe is that those stats should be more in our favour and we didn't actually play well, but you don't have to, to be better than West Ham.

Papering over the cracks.
Or showing some fight and guts when not playing well, missing key men, and others just returning to fitness?

Let's back Poch to sort this out. He's earned the right over the last 2.5 years. We're one win (and a humungous
goal swing) away from being top of the league for Christ's sake.

Despite the win we've been trash today. Hopefully gives us the boost we need to get our confidence back.

Agreed, winning or not losing when playing poorly is all well and good but we have been stinking the place out all season.

Even the most blinkered fan can see that.
