How accurate are the figures from that website SS57 provided. I'm suspicious considering the signings they made just this summer amount to 53m

You can't complain about it by only looking at the figures on the surface etc...of course the wage bill need to be taken into account.

Anyway we are spending within our means, that's the crucial part so its just a jealous remark at the end of the day.

Arsenal have a bigger turnover and greater revenue streams than we do so its not our fucking problem if their finances are managed in a certain way. They've had 15 years of Champions League football so their global profile has been much bigger for years and now the gap is being closed at a rapid rate.

He would be better complaining to the board at Arsenal and the one's responsible for their business plans...if I were a Gooner (thank fuck I'm not) you would want to shoot the fucker who was giving all those average players like Eboue big fat contracts...that's what restricted them in the transfer market as well.

Looked into it a little bit more. That same website, on another page, states that since season 05/06 Arsenal have spent 185m odd in transfers so I'm a little bit hesitant to give them credit just yet.

http://www.transferleague.co.uk/premiership-transfers/arsenal-transfers.html

Of course, it's entirely possible they could have left a 1 off by accident!

It seemed very low to me, but our figure was pretty close to what's been calculated from Topspurs and other sources, and those for the other clubs looked about right, so it din't occur to me they'd make such an obvious cock-up (and then fail to notice it!).

If it's £185m, it makes the annual spend about £10m since they moved into the Immigrants.

At the end of the day, all of this just goes to show how much we are really irritating the gooners, were we not 10 points ahead of them going into a NLD this would never have come up.

We have rattled them, and they do not like it one little bit.

Assuming that is accurate, you have to laugh at what they are paying some of those very average players
