OK, we're gonna look like a bunch of mugs if he goes but in the spirit of positive thinking I know plenty of people have availed themselves of not ungenerous odds on the likelihood of Bale staying.
I made a post some while back on the ITK thread along the lines of 'if you believe our ITKers and think he's staying then betting that outcome is a good idea.'
At that time the odds were around 4-5/1 a huge price propelled by Marca's miserable stories and our hack media picking them up, then Bale's reps spieling a load of negative stuff to back it up.
Lord Chief Levy, however, may well be having none of it and if so, a good few of us will come out in front.
I'm not set to win a fortune, but I am potentially set to win some money.
Without the ITK world and without Spurs Community and the good people that keep this ship afloat, this outcome would not be possible.
You don't have to announce your bets, merely sign the thread if you want to propose a financial thankyou via the medium of your potential winnings to the forum IF, and I can't emphasise this highly enough IF that speedy Welsh bugger stays past September 2nd.
