I think that Walcott will be a very decent player this season and will get his chance in the first team.
When they bought him,he was still a bit of a baby - Ramsay is'nt,he is stronger, more developed and he will play in the Carling Cup games this season.

Thats good news then. Hopefully we will draw them in the Semis and beat them 6-1 this season.

Wenger just wants him to fiddle with his Welsh length now Theo's getting older it's starting to get wrinkles.

Have just read the Dan Ashcroft thread in Transfer Forum. It's full of articulate and well thought out comments- which is what SC is best at.

Then I read this. It is offensive to Wenger (obviously) but also to the person who started the thread who wanted an intelligent discussion and to right thinking people who want to read 'Spurs Chat' without having to read pointless references to child abuse.

Maybe the mods haven't seen this comment yet but I hope you will remove it when you do and seriously consider banning people who waste space with this kind of nonsense.

Hear, hear. A really pointless reply.

As it happens, I agree with the poster who said he'd be better off at United.

as a member who has been away for a couple of years and just re started using the site , ive been disapointed by the number of "trash" posts ( instulting , childish , racist sexist etc ) that spoil so many good threads
for me they spoil an otherwise excellent site

There's a "report post" button on every post, that will flag it up for the mods and usually gets a very quick response if you find something particularly inappropriate.

I think Ramsey will end up regretting his decision. He could not have chosed a club with a worse record for bringing young talent through.

Really? I'd say they have without a doubt one of the best records for bringing kids through. Fabregas, Clichy, Walcott, Denilson, Traore, Djourou and Song all get regular first-team football to varying degrees. Arsenal's system is built on bringing kids through - they have very few experienced players outside the first eleven, as they prefer to blood young players. Ramsey's got a much better chance of playing regular first team football at Arsenal than at any of the other top four clubs, and I'd argue probably a better chance of playing than he would at the Lane too.
