Please please please let there be some truth to this.

Stobart had an exclusive last week saying we were upping our bid from £12 to £13.5M (€17M) and his later article on Friday said we were "preparing" that £13.5M bid.

Here's the 2nd article http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/9/en...-444m-modric-deal-but-tottenham-approach-for-

"In addition to Moutinho, they are also working to bring Emmanuel Adebayor to the club for £5m from Manchester City and are preparing to offer €17m (£13.5m) for Lyon and France goalkeeper Hugo Lloris."

Feel like we could be on the precipice a bit here.

Murmurs or silence regarding Lloris and Moutinho.
Ideas of another striker seeming a little fanciful or unlikely.
Can't see Damaio coming, do we actually want him if he's underwhelmed by us? Plenty of ITK say it's dead anyway...

Lloris, Moutinho and a good striker or equal quality equivalents are necessary and required soon, let's not drop the ball when we're so close.

We're upping our bid for Lloris to €17m. From a goal.com source I think.

Word for word translation: Recently, the http://Goal.com reported that the Tottenham prepares a proposal of 17 millions of euros for lead the French one Lloris

Not on the goal.com website though and that link doesn't lead anywhere. Why would does the Portuguese version of goal.com (if there is one) know before the UK version of the site?

Hope it's true though (y)

Cheers mate. Missed that the first time round. Those 3 signings would round this window off beautifully. Allows us to go off to America properly and then look for that second striker/complete the deal in a little more realxed manner.

Because his twitter name is about Spurs.

As a Jew I don't find that offensive and think that the people who are taking offense to Frimpong are probs only doing it because he plays for the scum not because what he said was actually offensive in the context that yid was referring to his support for Spurs not his Jewish ancestry.

What exactly is Spurs related about 'ProDriveTony'?

I can see us putting an 11th hour bid for Lloris tonight! OL seemed pretty clear Hugo would be staying put if no bids were in by today.

Whats sahin tweeting
Thanks
Sorry. It wasn't a Sahin tweet from himself. the Futebol Europeu account mentioning he might actually be part of the Modric deal €25m + Sahin. The same that we've heard before though. It was why I wondering if the twitter account was just the usual blurtings of an individual or something a little more concrete.
