Yeah I think Ibra is a great player in Italy, just not sure he is suited to the Premier League. He never impresses against English opposition in Europe. Just a feeling I get. He's great at times, world class at times even, but I think he'd get very frustrated a lot of the time in England.Really? How on earth could you think he would fail here? I do agree that he is unobtainable but still... fail? Ibra?

This has to be a Dutch striker!!!!!!!! Or a world class striker from Blackpool? Damn I'm getting good at these cryptics!! I'm gonna put my house and car on a world class striker from Blackpool!!!
Or maybe, just maybe, he is saying that the future of club is very bright because we are about to sign a world class player... People really need to stop analysing every single word that JJ posts - it's getting very silly.
Not to piss on too many pre-Olympic firework displays (and not a crit of you Makkaveli whatsover or any individual on here), but realistically, as has no doubt been said in one of the early books in this SC ITK Bible, 'World Class' represents a very small 'club' indeed. In the age of hyperbole and OTT celebrification, gross Dianafication and ghastly, gushy faux empathy, it is a term that really has little more meaning than a piece of toast. World class is special. Really special. There are not enough 'World Class' players playing at the same time in the same era to warrant the use of the term in the way it's bandied about (with the same regularity as all those 'amazing saves' and 'amazing goals' that idiotic pundits go on about, and when the dust settles you realise they were really just 'pretty good' or 'to be expected from a professional sportsman'). 'World Class' has been devalued to mean pretty much any really good player playing for a big club, when what is really required is an historical view. So we're talking Pele. Maradona. Messi. Di Stefano. Best. This may seem pedantic but it is born on my part out of a degree of weary frustration (BA, Oxon, Classics. Only joking) at the constant trumpeting of the average and the very good as being much more than they are. Everyone's a fucking winner. Everyone's the best there ever was. Well, that's bullshit. Pehaps it's a type of overweening vanity so we feel good about ourselves and can bask in a bizarre form of reflective glory. Having said all this (!), I do of course hope we sign someone very good. That should be the aim of any self-respecting football club of course, and doesn't really warrant a headline, unless it's for the terminally desperate. We may - just may, as statistically it's highly unlikely - sign someone who turns out to be, one day, actually 'World Class', when they have had time to prove it. I'm not holding my breath. But of course one lives in hope."TheFutureIsVeryBright"

Hah! Well I do feel old but I don't feel better. Oh, go on then, just a little. Not a very funny read now I look back on it!Proper old man rant that, greaves. Good to read. Feel better?
You're spot on too. What people mean to say when they blurt out WC is something like "estbalished international" or whatever. Better than the majority of the current players across the world - what percentage of professional footballers are internationls anyway - less than 2% or something? Pretty good level that. Doesn't mean any of them are world class, or ever will be though.
Couple of stand out candidates right now though, tbf.
But yeah, good points.
3 days? It's been 1 ?

It's not a cryptic!!Seriously guys. I have been reading everyone getting worked up over JJ's post for 3 days now and it's starting to get ridiculous.
The Cryptic is easy
1: "The future is very bright" = A Dutch Player
2: " World Class" = Jan KLASS Huntellar
Can we now move on to guessing when Mouthino will sign???
Like Mr Pink...
