We were fine tonight. Gomes lost his balance and we conceded via a penalty. Until then we were hammering them.

The referee kept stopping the game throughout the 90 minutes to give free kicks for nothing fouls.

Bent was unlucky not to score, though I think he should have done better with an effort in the first half.

Yet again, had any luck whatsoever been on our side rather than our opposition's, we probably would have won.

We'll beat Bolton on Sunday and that'll finally kick start our season.

When you say that out loud do you shut your eyes and stick your fingers in your ears?

Well take a look cos this team is fucked.

sackthe whole lot and start again.
It's Heartbreaking to see the team play reasonably well for 25 minutes, then fall apart and become clueless morons for the rest of the game,
I never thought i'd end up being embarrassed by the club, it's humiliating the shit we fans are taking from other fans and the media and it hurts because of the pure crap displays the players are putting out each week,
Every day there's a different thread on here saying who was the worst player against 'x' to be frank every player who has worn the shirt this season hasn't earnt the right to wear it with pride and to look around and say they worked hard for the mega wage,
The result tonight and the whole season has been piss poor and we need to do something now,
'we need to support the team and get behind them' people say, but they need to do their part and get their asses in gear and give us something to cheer on.

I'm sorry Flatters. You really need to get your head out of the sand.

It is starting to look like blind optimism.

Been hearing the bit in bold all season too. How long till you accept that Ramos, good a coach though he may be, isn't the man for us?

I'm a Tottenham supporter. I'll always have complete confidence in my team to succeed.

I am willing to bet that King will not play on Sunday. He physically isn't able to play two games in the space of 3 days.

Woodgate and Corluka then. There's still Zokora as well who can play there just fine.

Thats pretty much as i saw it to. Just a stop-start game with the Udinese playes falling over at the slightest touch.

mate , we are not fine, never was fine! stop kidding yourself that everything is A-OK cos its not :duh:

and King our best player? are you having a laugh?

:-|

No we had alot of possession, we weren't hammering them. We can't create fuck all. I can only remember 2 chances.

We won't beat bolton. Stop with this false optimism.

I guess we need more pessimistic fans like you then.

WTF?? We were hammering them? Fucking hell i give up.

We did not create anything more than possibly two efforts on target.

Tonight was a fucking very poor team performance pretty much throughout. Bale was fucking dreadful, his dead ball delivery is on a par with Bentleys which is shit at best. Zokora, just what does that man offer to a football team, please don't say he runs around, so does my fucking two year old son and that gets on my nerves after a while. I am struggling to think of a time when i have seen such a piss poor Spurs side.

Tonight was a classic case of the 'when your luck's out...' syndrome.

start of the 2nd half modric looked good until O'Hara decided he wanted to fuck things up (even more) why does zokora still start every game despite being awful most of the time.

And if we lose to Bolton, what then?

Then when we beat arsenal on weds it'll finally kickstart our season.

/sarcasm off

I still WANT us to win, of course I do, as does every other Spurs fan on the planet. But seeing the lack of chances created, which is baffling because of the number of (supposedly) creative players we have in our squad, doesnt inspire me with confidence at beating anyone at the moment. We can't score and we can't keep a clean sheet. It's not rocket science to see that is a disastrous combination.

Now can someone please remind me what a league win feels like?

Flatters will still blindly believe there is nothing wrong.
He might actually think that it might take time to build a team outta of his beloved Spurs....especillay when we lack strikers.

He might even think that changing managers every might not make us better.

I know it's completely crazy.....ain't it. Coz look how good we've been for the last 25 years with 378 different managers

lets just admit that Bentley is right, we are shit. Robbie and berbatov hid our deficiencies. be honest, when you see that team on paper do you feel confident. Ramos has to go, let him take responsibility, he's the manager. the only thing we can rely on to get us out of this is passion, and ramos cannot instill this in the team. Lets hope Levy has the courage to let him go and concede that he made a poor and costly mistake...... perhaps he will pay for that at some point!!!

Probably because he's our best player. I dunno.

You've answered my question.

Play him in Cup matches or League games? What would you do?

I dont usually get involved with criticising managers tactics as its all pretty subjective and easy in hindsight, but to me, saving King and playing Dawson was an obvious black and white decision that Ramos got wrong.

Whether we need King to beat Bolton or not, time will tell, but as you say, if he's our best player, using him against Bolton could only increase our chances.

King has played in 16 of our last 69 games according to the 5 commentators.

Now Ramos has backed himself into a corner. Woody doubtful, King doubtful, Dawson and Bale suspended. Corluka probably still on life support.

Ok....say that you're right. Ramos must go....but fuck hell because of the way our squad look and that Keane and Berbs was sold

Then you'll still have the biggest problem here.....upstairs.

Think again

As has been said by someone, somewhere, it almost seems like Tottenham's duty to do the stupid things.

Sack the man that got 2 5th place finishes.

Don't sack the man that has won 5 league games in 2008, and barely has a point per game ratio.

I think you should wait until you find out who plays on Sunday before commenting on that.

Utterly deluded:rofl:

Perhaps, but the result and end performance was hardly his fault.

Bent was unlucky not to score, though I think he should have done better with an effort in the first half.

Yeah, with a header just before Udi's 2nd.

That chance in the 1st half showed exactly why Bent, sadly, isn't good enough, bless him. He should have controlled that with his chest (fuck sake, he had enough time) and hammered it in. Instead we got a lame attempted header when it was obvious he should of controlled it. Very unintelligent striker, IMO.

Yet again, had any luck whatsoever been on our side rather than our opposition's, we probably would have won.
We were shite, we deserved nothing.

We'll beat Bolton on Sunday that'll finally kick start our season.

its a big problem, but we need to be realistic, Levy going dosent solve anything short term, and at the moment we need short term solution to rescue us
