So how about it? Anyone watching today/tonight?

Have many mates that are Gers, a lot of them seem to think that they are going to walk all over Fiorentina; I've been watching them most of the season though, and they are in for a tough match--not a sure win, if anything the Gers might be the underdogs in this one. With McGregor out, they are going to have to work hard to prevent Mutu & Co. from getting an away goal. Of course, the Gers are always tough at Ibrox, but Fiorentina have been in good for lately.

It will be interesting to see how Zenit react to Bayern (and vice versa); they played Leverkusen off the park and Bayern squeaked past Getafe with criminal luck, though the "real" Bayern will supposedly show up at any time...or so I'm told. I will be watching Arshavin, very exciting player--want to see him in the shirt next season terrorizing the left channel in the Prem. :grin:

Thoughts? Comments? Predictions from the Oracles?

I was watching Gers but I stopped--I don't have anything against them but they are just so boring, nil-nil written all over it.

I want a zenit in the final the way they play is amazing. I want spurs to play like that. All they need is to cut out the mistakes and get a world class finisher on and they truly would be fantastic.

They should of won it late on when the keeper let a really slow ball pass through his legs, only for a defender to clear it of the line.

Zenit outplayed them throught the pitch and disserved to win!!!, I think Zenit are more exiting then Bayern take my word for it!!

What I saw against Bayern was loads of creativity, with loads of great touches, playing 2 touch even 1 touch football, but I was not impressed with there finishing, 3 accurate shots in 12 explaines why!!

Well with these results, it is more likely that we will have a Zenit-Rangers final. And I really thought a Fiorentina-Bayern final would be great. Could still happen.

I can't see Rangers scoring at Fiorentina, true they got it done in Lisbon but Fiorentina are a different matter altogether. Scottish sides in Europe are bang at home, but away they always struggle.

Zenit with the away goal...things are going to be interesting in that 2nd leg.

Can't believe I failed to put my money where my mouth was. I tipped Zenit in the round of 32. They were then 15th favourites out of the last 16, but I still told my boss to get his money on them...and then failed to do so myself. :-(
