The only three things that you can be sure of are that firstly the club will charge everyone the top price bracket, secondly that Redknapp will put out a reserve team because of Stoke three days later and thirdly that we will get absolutely battered.

Dont really know why im bothering!

I applied for three tickets last Thursday morning and was in the early 800's in terms of applications.

Unless there was a huge surge in applications, or the club decided on a small allocation, it would at least suggest I should be okay.

well i was number 2625 on applications on saturday. so i can only think we'll get 3,000 for the match, like normal prem game. we are meant to get 15% of the ground by right

I didn't apply because of price and also because, not being Spurs' fault, the last train back to Euston seemed to be at 8.30 which would be cutting it too fine.

I would suggest the club are waiting to see how many people apply before deciding on the allocation...it should become clearer by tomorrow or probably Thursday.

It's a shame we can't sell out the allocation and some people's attitude is quite depressing really. We probably will get beat but when was that ever the point? I follow my team through it all not just when they win, and this is a great occasion. An away cup game at Old Trafford with potentially 9,000 Spurs fans up there to have a good time and a good sing song no matter what. Go up expecting nothing and have a good time, win, lose or draw.

We were expected to get battered at Chelsea a couple of years ago, went 3 - 1 up, had a great sing song and got a 3 - 3 in the end. A brilliant match and day out despite the disappointment in the end.

So, forget the result, buy your tickets, jump in the car, bring your noise and support your team!!!*

*oh yeah i cant go 'cos i'm worming the dog that day, balls....

ps. where is the allocation number that some of you speak of? Just checked the email I received from the club and it doesn't have it anywhere (that I can see)?

It is on the online ticket booker.

I remember last season we could have taken more than we actually did, so I would agree they are waiting to see how many applied by the deadline as they don't want to get stuck with unsold tickets. They'll then add a bit for gen sale.

If it was only about 2600 on Sat that's well disappointing.

I remember going years ago when we got beat with Rory Allen up front. We took loads up then and OT was nowhere near as big as it is now.

I know we have loads of northern games this month with Wigan, Burnley, United and Bolton all away, but it's the cup and we should be taking loads up there. Doesn't help though that it's on tele and the trains are a disgrace in price.

As for having a beer, we always go into town and then get the train from Oxford Road station. Takes you straight into the ground.

I'm hoping we don't fill our allocation from a fully selfish pov cos I've only got like 50 loyalty points... will be all on my lonesome at the ground tho... and we'll lose, but fuck it, I don't care... Manchester's an awesome night out

I imagine I'll be drinking in the Phoenix or the Oxford then heading to the ground via tram from Piccadilly Gardens...? Don't wanna be surrounded by Manc's tho...

You have to produce a home ticket at virtually all the pubs by the ground so your best bet is town
Just remembered The Gorse Hill dont ask for a ticket about 10-15 mins walk from O.T

Exactly the same reason I didnt apply miss that train then will have a nightmare journey back home! Typical Virgin trains!

I'm sure I seen on SSN before that United have allocated 12000 to Derby for the CC, so surely ours would be about the same? 12000 sounds about right for their capacity, going on 15%.
