I really like him as a player, but he's not International quality in my opinion.

Not sure I would agree with that, mate - but I do feel Ryan's aggression would make him a 'marked man' in the international arena and that alone I believe will stop him playing all that often (if at all) at that level.

Personally, I think he is good enough (compared with the alternatives) and his mentality in the dressing room and on the pitch is something England do desperately need

if he is good enough for Spurs' first team then he should be getting into the England squad if not the first team.

If today's game is an audition, only Rose has any chance of getting into the England squad. Not even Kane on today's performance.
