Daniel Levy said:
We continue to focus on ensuring that the future of the club is protected at all times and therefore, whilst everyone is eager to know if this is our last season at the Lane, we shall only make the decision to decommission our historic White Hart Lane when we have greater certainty on the delivery of the new stadium.
He knows exactly what's going to happen. Haringey are dragging their feet and Levy is now holding their feet to the fire

Wouldn't be good to stay another season at the Lane, we need to get this all done and move into the new stadium

I have already come to terms with the fact that this won't be our last season there, call it a calculated guess but I am 80% sure we will be at the lane next season at this point in time.

It's not news. Same was said at the latest Trust meeting.

I was always slightly sceptical of the timeline. My fear was always two seasons away from WHL so I actually wouldn't be too disappointed staying another year if it meant we could guarantee only one year at Wembley. This is a massive project, and if you look at the build times of similar stadiums in the US (without the contracting pitch) then two years is ambitious.

Cannot take waiting 3 years before we are functioning in new home. 1 year at Wembley next season was fine. Now delaying another year, not for me. But then again some of you not my age.

In the statement to the Trust I'm sure he was pretty adamant it would only be one year, but we won't confirm moving until the latest possible moment. We want to be out as short as possible.

2 things
1. Purely financially, would it not have an impact on costs i.e if the construction company has to wait a year to get at the rest complex. Could they have turned down work based on working on site for the next year??
2. Our agreement in principal for using wembley is for 2017-18. If we then said can we defer that until 2018-19 could that clash with any agrrement theyre working on for chelsea, not to mention being pissed off with us appealing for the full capacity use for next season.

Sorry but i just dont see this as genuinely possible

Think we need to accept this is not our last year at WHL, its been obvious for a number of weeks and the work has slowed right down on weekends, which is clearly cost saving too.

Shame but very clear the noise coming out of spurs is we wont move this year, lets see if we can win the league next year and give WHL a true send off :)

We all know Levy will want a season where they can do merchandise every game for it being our last season and make the most and not just announce it last minute and miss out on revenue, everything is pointing to this.

I can see it now - t-shirts printed with 19 games to go, 18 games to go etc etc!

It's Levy, I'm pretty sure he has all bases covered. He's going to make the choice that is best for the club in the long run.

I wonder what the revenue differential is between WHL and Wembley?

I know we are paying rent at Wembley but the gate is nearly three times bigger.

Depends entirely on what happens with ticket prices. I fear that if they're kept the same as at WHL we just won't come close to selling out most non-Category A games

Well we already beat West ham and Chelsea, don't much like the idea of giving them another chance to beat us on the last ever season at the lane.

Depends on Arsenal result, if they beat us then yeah..One more season at the lane lol

Guessing the prices will come down quite a bit at Wembley
