Also Joe Cole asking mega money it's felt he will be let go Citeh or abroad are the favs , Kalou could end up at the Scum not a well liked chap by his teamates.Also the young Citeh kid is unhappy and has thrown his toy's out the pram.

There's a difference between going on a function, essentially for work, and liking the bloke. He is probably tolerated and if you go in a group they wouldn't have cared about the event. It's not like they get many chances to go out on the booze with approval so sure they'd have taken advantage even if it had been a 'Happy Retirement Robert Mugabe' party.
