Still say should not let him go, given a regular starting place will be better than Bent is after playing regularly for Sunderland!! :-(

He knows B'ham have cash and they are desperate for a striker.
Plus, if we believe what we read (everyting i read in the press and in SC ITK is oh so true for me) and they offered £9m for babbel, then we should hold out for at least this amount.

Pav won't want to play in England unless it's for one of the CL contenders where he'd feel he's at a massive club and on massive wages. That is unlikley so the fella will be staying or going out abroad

I agree, they are desperate - they probably won't find anyone better this window who wants to move. £9m for Babel = £12m for Pav equivalent IMO.

Pav wont want a move to Brum, he wants a move back to Russia.

You would never except the first bid and Birmingham will know that - expect to get £12M

If this goes through, I can see him scoring their late equaliser in a cagey 1-1 draw on Saturday. Presuming he's fit.

I'm sure that if we do sell Pav to Brum then the deal will take place after the deadline for Birmingham to register any players for this weekend's round of matches, and I think both clubs will be aware that that's how it's likely to be timed when they negotiate the deal.

Birmingham have agreed a fee with Lens? for Aruna Dindane

I cannot see them buying 2 more strikers with Chucho, Cameron Jerome and that other Scottish bloke...
