They still owe us money for the original deal, hence why we are back in for him. Kaboul not yet at personal terms discussion, but its likely that this is going to happen.

Anything truth regarding Begovic?

Yes, but looking at 1 other as well.

Does he mean one other at Portsmouth or just one other in general?

Begovic looks a decent keeper and I wouldn't mind him as backup.

Its all going off now then. Close to the end of the window and we're finally making our move. I think Kaboul is very much a last minute buy after probably failing at other targets. Begovic makes sense as a number 2. More depth to the squad really.

Kaboul has the talent and physical attributes...hopefully everything else will come with experience and coaching

This is a real show of intent. We're 4th and we aim to stay there - all 3 signings we could possibly get by without but I'm glad we're not taking the chance and doing some good business while we can. We can probably get all 3 for the fee we may get from Birmingham for Pav - if we do that's pretty fucking cool...

I read it as 1 other from Pompey but can't think of anyone good enough for us

I'd like to see Kaboul converted into a powerhouse defensive Midfielder to partner Palacios, imagine them two flying into tackles with Lennon and Modric down the wings, power, pace and creativity.

I'd also like to know how much extra we are gonna have to pay to bring back a player we deemed not good enough.

I hope we don't sign the keeper, saw him first hand on loan at Bournemouth and he was terrible, could make some outstanding saves, but was an all round poor keeper, over 6 foot and lobbed from a 40 yard free kick. We'd be better off using what we have.

None, if we don't change manager any time soon. None of the 'returning' players we've had come back to us in recent years were sold by Harry. If he wants to sell Pav (which looks increasingly likely) then Pav won't be the subject of a bid to bring him back to Spurs whilst Redknapp is in charge.

You don't really remember David Seaman against Ronaldinho or Nayiiiiiiiiiiim then.

He's coming in as a backup keeper and I'm sure he's come on leaps since his Bournemouth days.

And at 22 you don't think he might improve? You think he is going to remain at 1 ability level his whole career? After seeing him in 1 game?

Would be very weird seeing old Younes back at the Lane. Be nice to see his occasional marauding runs upfield, but then his tendency to wander about 4 miles out of position when trying to defend is not quite so welcome.
