I was surprised about Keane as he was supposedly uphappy about not playing. If he was that unhappy how could he lift the dressing room?

I'm guessing now Bentley will fill the vacuum. He's a real live wire although I thought they fed off each other.

Doesn't bode well that people are unhappy he's gone although it was his choice.
Because he's a real pro! He even gave the players pep talk when coming on for the second half

For someone as accurate as POTL, given he got the Pav-to-be-gone-by-5pm thing wrong (Update 74), I was hoping he would explain what happened, but he hasn't really done so there.

Because, even if this is supposed to be the best ITK info we get, it is essentially all based on hearsay and subjective comments from some individual apparently within a club. Sorry, don't mean to burst the bubble, but I prefer to take any ITK with a healthy dose of salt rather than blindly accepting it for an actual fact.

"Pav will not be here after 5pm" was actually just an opinion of someone inside - albeit based on the real interest from Russia and the actual bid from Brum and the player's disillusionment with Harry.

Gio's "poor application, getting drunk too often" has not been apparent in ANY of his appearances last year, including Spurs. I also prefer to deal in facts - and the actual reports with photographs about the Dublin party (and Gio was NOT there) and more than late nightclub outing where Crouch, Woody, Huddlestone, Keane, Jenas, Lennon were seen and photographed in the early hours, looking not exacty sober.
I have yet to see such a report/photos about Gio's nights on the town - not the much trumpeted photo from Xmas party in 2008 where he was allowed to get in that state despite the presence of the team manager and senior players.

I meant "more than one late nightclub outing"...

Also, please don't take this as a criticism of ITK messenger. I know he is only relaying what he was told and what he believes in. It's just at times it sounded to me a bit too much like the official propaganda...Just my take - doesn't mean others are wrong to take it without questions.

Er, thanks but I'm well aware how ITK works. However the info is received, whether it is fact or opinion the guy has been very accurate in the past, so I would be interested to know what happened in between him posting that Pav was off and the end of the window that resulted in Pav staying.

Didn't he actually say "unlikely to be here by 5pm tomorrow"......not quite the same as saying he is definitely off.

POTL is one of the most reliable, but of course when you comment on Giovani's drinking exploits (first said in this window by yidio-also very reliable) the 'blinkered' few that patrol the boards will still not believe it simply because they don't want to and would prefer the manager to be xenophobic rather than there actually be an explanation.

I can see the logic in the Richards and Young rumours, whether it means a formation change or just so that the competition for places is even greater.

richards is a sensible choice and by the end of june we'll see why as i think he'll be Englands RB not Johnson if he carries on the form so far under mancini

i'm disappointed with the post from POTL to be honest. the last couple of windows he has become top dog on itk on here yet the summary is very inconsistent. a massive write up of nothing new that misses out things that did actually happen - RVN, Sandro, Joe Lewis, that calls other names pie in the sky but on the same page states that richards and Young are key targets for the future.... POTL has gone way way down in my opinion after that post........

Dropped to the bench for today. Richards has it in him to be a very good player one day, but will not be 1st choice in SA.

And in response to numerous other posts on this thread: Ashley Young can play on either wing, and we can't go on falling to bits every time Lennon gets injured.
