Hi all,

Im in a bit of a pickle!

I cant make tomorrows game so Ive given my season ticket to Southlondonyiddo who I sit with for one of his friends. But, like a knob i sent it by normal post first class (I know I know).

I sent it Tuesday night and its not arrived yet and its obvious now that one single first class stamp isnt enough.

So, in contacting the local delivery office where there is no record of it yet i am told there is nothing they can do.

So, my dilemna is how do i get round getting a replacement ticket for tomorrows game without showing ID etc as I wont be able to make it down there.

Cheers

I went to a West Ham game the year before last and when I got there to my horror I realised I had forgotten my season ticket, left it at work and as I kept my members ID card with it I didn't have my ID.
As I recall I went to the ticket office explained what had happened I'm sure I only had to give my name and address as I can't remember my season ticket ref number anyway and I had to purchase my ticket at the full price and then claim it back at a later date when I could take my season ticket in and show them, there may have been a small charge I don't rememeber.

Not much help I know but if SLY or his friend can reel off your details without hesitation and perhaps SLY vouch that he sits next to you and shows his ST they may be ok, they will have to stump up the cash though I guess.

yeh get the guy who sits next to you to go with him. i was asked for my membership card, so if u hav it give it to him. they charged me £50 but i beleive you get £40 of tht back when u go in and giv the game voucher back in. so make sure he has the £50 on him too. oh and get there nice n early, u dnt want to be queing and miss the start of the game. it can get quite busy

I think there's a good chance for your friend as long as they are savvy to your information.

Address, season ticket number, possibly even your last transaction with the club.

I think worcestersauce's scenario is the equivalent of making it available on return for your friend to purchase - perhaps you could ring through and inform them of the situation?

They said they need a utility bill. But the £50 charge with £40 refund is correct. Im having to pop up there tomorrow morning, and am trying to make arrangements of leaving it with someone.

Anyone know the Bell & Hare pub number?

Cheers
