I agree we should use a deal which includes sturidge for the modric deal, but the question is how much should we expect? I hear chelsea rate sturidge at 20 million which is a joke, but i would be satisfied with 30 million plus sturidge.

With the 30 mill get llorente and get him quick!

I would veto Odemwingie on the basis that he isn't good enough for where we want to be. If we don't land a big guy, then at least get an immense smaller striker like Rossi. Otherwise it has to be a target man.

To be fair though, last season I would have swapped our strikers for pretty much any other prem team's strikeforce!

While i'd love a Falcao or Llorente or Rossi I simply can't see it happening. I can't see Man City or Chelsea dealing with us so we can forget about Drogba, Sturridge and Adebayor. The likes of Odemwingie and Kenwyne Jones simply aren't good enough.

The only realistic target on the OP list is Vucinic who is available if we can persuade him to come.

I think we should also try for Bojan Krkic and Pavel Pogrebnyak. Bojan would be a first team regular almost anywhere other than Barca, and Pog is a beast who would kick sand in Kevin Davies' face and is ideally suited for the premiership. Both are available at a reasonable price and both are a significant upgrade on what we already have.

I have only watched him in 1 game but I thought he was pretty decent,Dame N'Doye of Copenhagen might be worth a go..........not sure how much he would cost.... could do a job as a back up striker.

Always liked the look of Soldado and after a patchy period Negredo has come good recently. Of course the choices of Falcao, Llorente and Rossi are the preferred option but are possibly very expensive.

Sow seems to have a decent scoring record in france and could be an option, as could Lopez but again may prove expensive.
