hi guys,

im going to the Arsenal game next Wed.

However, i have two tickets, one with my name on, and one with my girlfriends name on - however my girlfriend isnt coming with me, my brother is.

Does anyone know if this could be a problem as the ticket clearly says MISS on it?

Cheers

its a wig and make up for your bro then....and you may need some heavy petting to complete the cover up!

No, shouldn't be. Done that often ;-) Never been questioned.

if they are just normal match tickets, then they don't check the names.

When my partner buys tickets for me it has her name on both so they can't check it.

Rules might be different for season tickets.

I got in on my mates sister's season ticket for years without incident, in fact the only time I have ever been stopped at a turnstile was when I used a work colleague's 'Senior' ST, somehow they noticed I was 40 odd years short of retirement!

If it is a season ticket just hand them the correct voucher from it, no need to show them the rest of the book.

99.9% certain this is OK. If it isn't, I've been relynig on it for over 10 years on false pretences!

The fact we are moving to a swipe card system shows the club are not really that fussed. Will be even more straightforward with ST's next season. Unless they've put in iris recognition tech, so when you borrow an ST you have to accidentaly poke your mate's eye out and ask to borrow that as well.

Seeing as it is a rearranged game with the wrong date on the ticket should help as well.

If anyone pulls you up, just say you're halfway through a gender re-assignment process, and the hormones haven't kicked in yet.

Umm no, ive got my own one, but my dad is living abroad atm so i get to use it for friends and family.. And its just a reg season ticket, but ive had girls use it before and there hasn't been any problems.

They never bother looking at the name, i just open it up to the right page and hold it in front of them, letting them tear it out. Dont worry about it :)

Won't be a problem at all, the gate staff have to go through hundreds of tickets handed to them a game and I'm sure could do without the hassle.

I got stopped by some jobsworth in the Paxton with a Senior ST (on my Birthday!). I had to go round to the ticket office in the Park Lane and pay for a duplicate ticket, I missed the first 20 mins of the match and they confiscated the ST book.
