Vertonghen undergoes tests amid fears he has suffered delayed concussion

Jan Vertonghen has undergone brain tests today to discover if he has delayed concussion following his sickening clash of heads with Toby Alderweireld.

Tottenham star Vertonghen had to be helped from the pitch unable to stand up after suffering the blow in the Champions League semi-final clash with Ajax last night.

Not good if it's concussion. Could also have been shock where you get a delayed reaction and a big drop in blood pressure. Hope he's OK not least because we need him so much.
